I was just heading off to London to see GnR in concert* when I recieved an email from a small business based in Worcester looking for marketing support. I called them before leaving and spoke to the friendly office manager, said I was available the following week and left her to liaise with her MD regarding dates.

- We started by evaluating CRM systems and the team had a definite favourite. They liked the interface and the functionality. So Insightly it was. I then worked closely with the office manager to review the customer and prospect data. As she as on first name terms with most it was a relatively quick process. I helped her navigate the recently introduced GDPR legislation and we ended up with a valuable cleansed and consented database of contacts.

Macismo wanted to develop a refreshed brand identity and were looking for someone to lead the project. Together we identified the company’s key characteristics as adaptive, innovative and sustainable. These “brand pillars” were used to inform the development of a refreshed creative direction.
- Creative management
I was also responsible for leading the creative management aspects of marketing projects. This included briefing graphic designers to develop the refreshed brand identity, trade exhibition stand design and new literature. As well as managing the project to design and develop an explainer videos that promoted Macismo’s three main products. These projects involved careful internal and external stakeholder management.
